Did not attend policy
To ensure fair access to our services and respect the time of our health professionals and fellow clients, the following policy applies:
- Failure to attend two appointments without notice will result in removal from the Cockburn Healthy Lifestyle Service, unless prior arrangements have been made or exceptional circumstances apply.
- This policy helps us reduce missed appointments and allows clients on our waitlist to access services more promptly.
- We understand that life can be unpredictable. If something prevents you from attending, please notify us as early as possible.
To support attendance, clients will receive automated SMS reminders 72, 48, and 24 hours prior to their scheduled appointment.
If a client misses an appointment (DNA), they will receive a notification email after the first instance outlining this policy and the importance of attendance.
